Protective films for glass surfaces

Glass surfaces should appear bright and open, but often have to provide more: privacy, UV protection, protection from scratches, more safety or less exposure to the sun and everyday life.

ShineGlass applies suitable protective films to glass surfaces on site. In this way, windows, shop windows, office glass, interior glazing and facade glass can be functionally expanded without replacing the glass itself.

Protective films make sense when glass is not damaged but needs to fulfill additional functions. Depending on the type of film, privacy protection, UV protection, splinter protection, scratch protection or decorative effects can be achieved. This is particularly relevant for shop windows, office glass, treatment rooms, entrance areas, interior glazing and heavily used glass surfaces. Existing glass is retained and is functionally enhanced by the film.

Benefits of protective films

More protection

Films can protect glass surfaces from signs of wear, UV radiation or visual obstruction.

No replacement

Existing glass surfaces are functionally expanded without installing new glass.

On site

Windows, doors, shop windows and interior glazing can be fitted with film on site.

Better use of the space

Rooms can be used in a more pleasant, protected or discreet manner.

Before we start, we check the type of glass, location and depth of damage so that it is clear whether polishing, cleaning, sealing or replacement is the most sensible solution.
